So yeah, I don't play on my USWest account all that often, but every time I do it gives me this "Failed Logon Attempts Since Then" message aftrer telling me when I last log in. At times it's said like, 11 failed attempts.
I'm guessing someone is just trying to guess my password, but still.
At least I don't have any items on that account, every character on it is untwinked and like, level 20.
Lol, how lame! Tell Blizzard!

Tell Blizzard? I was of the understanding that they don't give a steaming pile of crap about Diablo II or BNet anymore.
I mean hell, how long has it been since they reset the ladder?

What does untwinked mean? I hear it a lot.

It means you only use items you have found. Maybe its a friend trying to scare you or something.
maby a friend trying to guess your password too
i logged on once to 500 and some odd failed login attempts once, i changed like... all my passwords after that
500? I don't think you can be *that* popular. XP
its not about being popular its just someone using a program to random your pw and see if they get it
i think the term for it is called brute forcing or something
That's pretty hard, seeing how the account itself "locks up" after certain attempts. =.=
question my honesty all you want it still happend :azn:

A friend on bnet? That is the a crock. As it has been said trust no one. I choose to trust certian people like the guys in my clan but on the same note there is not much that I would not give them freely anyways. If you can't go over to their house and personally beat the crap out of them then you should not trust them.

That might be the wisest thing I've ever heard in my life. And not just for b.net, either. I think I'm going to get this tattooed on my back...
At the very least I'd love to quote you on that, for my sig. :-p

I dont know about that one. I made some good friends on this forum (i know where none of them live) and one has the password to my acct. Hes helped me outfit my chars and I've given him some items too so while I dont trust anyone i talk to on bnet I would trust people from this forum if they have a good reputation.

This happens quite often if you have an original or illy account.
Original as one single words such as "Fate", "God", "Moo", "Dog","Seven"
or illies such as "1+1=2" "^_^ForMe"
My original accounts on east get a daily 10-20 failed login attempt

its true you cant trust ppl in general on bnet.
but sometimes you can, yesterday I helped a dude get all three organs, and killed the ubers for him and got him a freaking 18-19 soso torch, he even left the game with the torch on ground and came back with another char.
didnt touch the torch and I just met him an hour ago.
god if I had been dishonest then!
*grmbls* stupid honesty
