This has probably be discovered/talked about before, but I just realized it today.
I was dueling on my FC druid and I noticed when ever I got to 1 HP and got unshifted the facets would cast the meteor from the facet like I died. Even if I ran away and re-shifted again.
Anyone ever try to use this to their advantage ?

I havent tryed it but you could use it to wipe out some one thats really low on hit points. Or really new to the game.

Hey, that's pretty nifty. But don't count on it even scratching the other guy.
Depending on the number of Facets you have, the Meteor hit will be doing somewhere between 1900 to 2500 damage, with around 450 to 600 damage/second flame that's left behind, which lasts for 19.2 seconds.

Friend made a Rabies Druid that had nothing but poison dies on. He actually killed quite a few people when he unshifted.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but when a sorc turns into a wearbear, then dies, she doesn't shift to a sorceress and die, she just is killed.
However... I have dueled a character that was made for facets. He had a TON of frw charms, and his equipment had a lot of various die facets (1 or 2 poison, a lot of cold, a lot of lightning, and a bit of fire). He had summoning skills maxed (oak sage, bear, poison creeper, and some other stuff I can't remember) Anyway, it wasn't that great of a build, but it was INCREDIBLY unique, he usually didn't survive after dying, but neither did the other guy :grin: .
Die skills that are tied up to a delay from casting to impact are worthless with this. If a character can't manage to dodge a meteor he probably can't touch you in the first place either. Meteor isn't really a pvp skill like that. Takes seconds for it to come down.
However, make a poison druid, and you can be casting novas pretty quick. Make sure to have max block on your switch though, so you hopefully can tank a little. Sure, stupid way on relying on killing people, but funny.
You could probably take out someone occasionally, but don't count on it.
You need quite a bit of -res for it to be effective too.

Telling, pure Rabies with all facetted gear ftw :)
facets = -res :P
facets = -res, but not much. Deaths web = lots of -res. Socket with facets is an extra sweetener, but doesn't do the big chunk.
