windy: stormshield or spirit

hum im making a wind druid soon, just wandering is it better to have max block w/ stormshield or more life skill fcr and fhr w/ a spirit monarch?
oh and i counted, ill hit 175 fhr and 99 fcr if i use the spirit, havnt tried thinking about the stormshield yet.

I think its on personall preference and what do you wanna be better at killin.

I use spirit shield and i do decent vs casters and such , i can even kill some decent melee char's without max block due to me still bein able too hit 38% dmg reduction.

But if you want a better chance vs bvc's and smiter palli's that know how too charge good stormsheild would be way to go.

So basically comes down to if you wanna be better at killin casters with spirit and suffer vs melee or Use ss and visa versa.

I recommend using both. They share both same 156 str req. Switch when needed.

and if not, Ber SS > Spirit for pubs.

38% DR? So you are using Spirit and still only getting 99%? :shocked:

Use search function.
But with spirit you should be hitting 163 fcr easily. That's the point in using spirit. If SS, go 99/99 and max block/dr.
Use both though switching when necessary, as Dennis said already.

Use both. SS for melee, spirit for casters.
