Something that just happened to me

I was doing a p/w solo game run and found a few good items, including an eth Colossus Voulge. I dropped them in Act 1 and went on to do some act5 runs, ancient tunnels, etc. I alt+tab to the trade forum to post what I had found in the trade forum, came back and the eth colossus voulge is gone?! This reminded of something that had happened to before with a near perfect 8/8/17 Gaze I found. It too disappeared after I had left it on the ground to go run on some other areas of act5.

Is this just happening to me or have others noticed this?

Things disappear if left on the ground for x amount of time, IIRC...

If you left it on the ground, it's not a bug...

Items and Gold Disappear after time when left on the ground
Don't leave items or Gold lying on the ground any longer than necessary. Regular items and Gold disappear in about 15 minutes. Magic, Rare, Set, and Unique items disappear after lying on the ground for about 1 hour.

i too, have been a victim to warriv. the bastard stole a nigma rite after i made it and went to xfer. i dropped it; then the mystery lag began.....he likes nigmas apparently. the jerk.

I think that white (normal) and grey (ethereal and/or socketed) items disappear faster than blue, yellow, green, or gold ones.

happened to me before, a hoto runeword, i just left it there in a private game, and then come back later, definitely no more than 1 hour, then it is gone....
