Diablo II Error

I've had this error occur more than three times on the same character, a ladder season two necromancer mule on a specific account, but none other. I get the error whenever trying to enter a game with that character, which occurs midway through the monastery gate loading graphic. I renamed the three files the game makes on your own system, but the new copies don't appear to be any different. I believe this character held many circlets and similar items, not including an extra armor or two beyond what he and his mercenary wear. It is repeatable, the same error every time, and prevents me from using him at all. What are my options?

strange, have you tried emailing blizzard?

its a ladder char so the only things saved on your system in the d2\save\uswest folder are temp files for your char which are downloaded every time you make a new game for it

sounds like a corrupted d2s on bliz servers tho

Thanks for the information, and I might use it later, but it seems to have worked itself out. Perhaps it was something on my system, but I doubt it. I just created a game using the character, so at least I can check everything.
