Might merc's aura problem

Hi, my might merc is currently having an infinity, before he was using bramble, because the thorn aura looks similar to the migiht one, i didn't quite notice that the might aura is gone, now i am switching to a chain of honor and my merc now has only the conviction aura, what happened to the might aura, how can i reset it?

after he activates it, should always be flashing between the offensive auras.

it doesn't just pop on when you enter the game.your merc needs to poke at a few enemies to get it started and sometimes it takes a minute or so.
