diablo 2 have a worm Virus on my pc

i think i have the worm in the diablo folder, or somethink becaus i
just have that problem with diablo 2, can some help me plz

o and i had the problem then i unistal and instal the game

ok, about 5 days i try to play diablo 2 exp, but it have a problem those that say if you want to send the errors to microsft, and i unistal the game becous i think that maybe was that i had a long time withnot playing hehe, then i instal the game again i play like 3 days and today i was playing and it say lost connection to battlent i close diablo 2 and i sleep for a wile when i try to play i again it say
insert diablo 2 exp disck on the label i had already in the label but i open the label and close it again and was like reading the disk and it say diablo 2 as detected a problem an it as to close, the i push the button that say saend inform of errors, and it says "Virus alesrt: windows as ditected W32/Pate.b.worm Virus in the equip :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

W32/Pate.b.worm is an encrypted parasitic file-infecting virus and network aware worm. It appends PE EXE and SCR files in the Windows directory and subdirectories on the local system, as well as on any accessible network share. The virus creates an additional PE section with a random 3 letter section header followed by the character "".

The virus creates the following Registry key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\
CurrentVersion\Explorer\PINF

The virus may mis-infect files with an incomplete virus body. These damaged samples are detected as W32/Pate.b.dam, cannot be repaired, and should be deleted and restored from backup.

thanx a lot, i have ewido micro antivirus but i gona download mcafee, and i hope i can delete the virus :grin:

actually mcafee is the ****s...i posted that link because it seems that most people use it...adaware/hijackthis/avg are what i use.
