View Full Version : Ideal curse for PVP Bone Necro.

What would be the best curse for a PVP Bone Necro? I have yet to max out Bone Prison but after I do that I should have some extra points to spend on whatever. I was thinking, clay golem for slow or to throw as many points as I can into bone shield for that extra defense but I think a curse could be more effective. I have a question about clay golem as well, does the slow effect always work or does the golem have to hit the enemy first?

I use clay golem (very useful for NvN, the spirits often target the golem first, so you can win - IMO NvN usually ends after two hits)
+ amp (it works with bone attacks)

iron maiden is good versus barbs, but also considered BM, just spam some walls around you and cast iron maiden
however, you should get IM from a wand, because it takes few skill points to reach it as far as I remember

Amplify damage doesn't work with Necro spells, neither does Lower resistances (which it used to, pre-1.10)

Decrepify would be the most useful curse, but it's also considered BM (Or should be, atleast)

Like I said in the opening post, there will be left over points... I think IM + bonewalls is an excellent strategy. I forget what Decrep does but I bet it's useful as well. Please, if you have nothing to contribute to the thread, don't post in it.

Hmm , Lower Resist works with bone spear maybe works with bone spirit too ...

But anyway , don't get any curse , all u need is ur Bone Tree , a single point in Clay Golem and a good wandy with Decrepify , bone spear or iron maiden ...

And , a necro who don't use curses in PvP isn't a necro XD ...

I like 92 lvl pure bone nec, and get decripfy & im from wands.

You'd need level 92 first to have extra points. (91 + 12 = 103)

You would have to be level 92 to have extra points being that you need (20)spirit, 20(spear), 20(teeth), 20(bone wall), 20(bone prision), 1(CE), 1(Bone Armor)

102 skill pts

Maxing bone armor is not possible if maxing the damage of Bone Spirit

Ohhhh yeaahh. I forgot about teeth. I think I upped that as much as I could until I could up spear. I suppose I could max teeth.

Decrep slows enemies down, very handy when dealing with a speederbarb or other faster chars. Don't put it on a hammerdin though, that'll just help him desync you even more.

A clay golem will only slow a enemy after he hits the enemy. It's not an area affect afaik.

dont think lower resist lowers spirit resistance? which is the damage on bone spear.
