now i know its on the threads here but i still cant decide wut to do with my points, im lvl 80 with about 16 points left over, my biggest question after reading some of the other posts is that whats better for the ubers??? skelly mage or revives?

My vote goes out to the Skellie Mages. The revive points just gives you more revives (not stronger revives). Your plus skillers should give you enough revives for most purposes. Having skellie mages gives you:

1) Additional meat shields for when you get surrounded
2) Ability to go blob mode
3) ability of poison mages to prevent monster heal for a significant amount of time
4) Ability to do elemental damage when using a curse other than amp damage
5) Makes you look cool by having a virtual army of summons running around you and unlike revives, they don't go poof after three minutes.

undead crown <- sux use nightwing, andy shako or delirium etc
and if you're using mages give your merc an infinity

i use an act 1 faith merc and i seem to like it very much. I know the undead crown blows but i dont really need anything better atm i can pretty much own all the bosses no problem so why waste the hrs.
with the mages, would i need to put some pts into lower resist to make them effective for ubers or would i stick with decrep??

Definately mages. They add a huge amount of damage, I honestly don't know what people are talking about when they say mages don't do any damage. Summon a large revive, tele a few inches from a monster, and watch your "weak" mages gun that monster down in seconds. How, exactly, is that "weak"?

Definately mages... and don't put too much stock in the vaunted "Fishymancer" guide, there really is a lot of bad advice in there.

Hey, the fishymancer guide is an excellent research tool, just that certain corrections are now considered needed, mainly the use of infinity > pride and that mages = da pwnz.

Rest of points need to go into mages immediately, and I wouldnt try ubering (mentioned in your post) with a undead crown....really not the brightest idea, and your not wasting hrs, more like an um, and with all the arachs, sojs, and the like, there is NO reason that you cannot afford a good helm.

Im also going to suggest that you switch to an infinity merc, as if you want to uber you will need a large amount of crushing blow on your merc, and having a merc with 35% cb max and who suffers a 1/2 cb penalty thx to a ranged attack is NOT the way to go, and act1 mercs normally have low life and will get torn apart when you tele next to uber meph...

*votes* I beleive that the necro forum needs a current update to the necromancer guide, as it would finally end all of the constant posts about the same topic! (well....no it wouldnt)
