Amp and Crushing blow combo

Does amplify damage have any effect on crushing blow in PvP? I know CB is 1/10th life in PvP, does amp leave it at 1/10th or improve it at all? Thanks!

Physical resistance, or lack there of does not affect cb. It's always gonna be a certain percentage life taken no matter what the circumstances. With that said, cb in pvp is still useless.

It's not always useless ;) It's helpful on certian LLD builds (maul-bears at level 29/30, kickers etc). I was hoping that amp would double its effect, and I'd make a level 18 necromancer using a magic scepter with Zeal charges and load up on crushing blow.

being that crushing blow is affected by damage reduced %, amp will help by removing damage reduced - however it will not multiply the damage after physical damage reduced is 0% ( amp does 100%, if you opponent has 50% it will not make cb do more than it would with your opponent at 0% dr)
