How many wasted stat points is too much?

I recently made a T/V and added stat points while using a lower end PTorch and Anni. As a result i wasted 14 stat points. Is this too much? Do i need to rebuild? Also i want to know in your opinion how much wasted stat points is too much.

That all depends on how much time you're willing to spend on a character. Even one wasted point makes me feel sick.

14 stat points = 42 life = ~60-70 life after BO.

Assuming you've got like 3K life, that's what, 2% of your total health?

Or 60*6*10 = 3.6K fire damage if you're at 90 res?

Might make the difference in one duel in a hundred, but not really worth rebuilding for.

Yes, the current level of the "messed-up" char does matter. I would not remake a lvl 95-96 char not to mention any higher (hi Stoute :wave: ) but 90 or 91 are very doable. It also matters how many points were wasted.

For me, every point that can be changed to life is priceless. I would remake any char up to lvl 95 if I'd waste a single stat point. ;)

I remade my werewolf because i had too much into dex , like 6 more then needed in dex that and i wanted a point in cyclone armor.

It all depends on how picky you are.

For me 5 or more wasted stat points is reason enough for a rebuild, so Im not as picky as alot of people

It all depends what your interpretation of a waste is. If you put points in strength to use equipment that you need to use at that level, for example, and then get a Torch/Anni/both, you'd just have wasted 40 stat points assuming we lived in a perfect world [and thus all Torches and Anni's were perfect.]

Personally, I don't consider that a waste...but some people do, so it's basically a matter of pickiness. I'm not one of em perfectionist 'OMFG I HAVE TO DO 10 MORE DMG!!!" people, but only if I wasted points to the point where my killing speed [for PvM, it would be damage speed, I guess, for PvP] and efficiency were noticably hindered, I would rebuild.
