Was in a private game for the last 20 mins. Organized nice little piles of items I was getting ready to put some stuff on the lvl 20 chars for the upcoming tourney. After about 5 minutes I noticed a pile of eth/socketed stuff was gone. Flipped through the 4 or 5 mules I had been in the game with to find nothing :(

While standing there debating whether or not the items could have possibly disapeared off the ground in the 5-10 mins tops I had been in game, I noticed the pile of charms were now gone as well.

No one else was in the game so it was just items expiring off the game. I've transfered plenty of times in the past and never had any items poof this fast off the ground :( I dunno if it was just a fluke or if blizz is limiting time to xfer items etc.

Just a little rant/heads up to make sure you don't leave any important stuff lying around for more time then you need to.

Cheers,

Aaron

I find certain games are very laggy now as well. Maybe that has something to do with it somehow.

I've lost runewords and socketables like that before, that stuff disappears pretty quick, though 5-10 sounds a bit fast.

Charms though I'm surprised... blue stuff is supposed to stick around for a while.

The game eats stuff left on ground too long.

Also, try not to leave too much on ground at one time.

The whole mule, transfer, find item on mule, get temp ban etc is a real pain.

I sure hope they find a way to fix this.

I've had that happen before with Socketables and white stuff, but just like mousy, I'm surprised your charms poofed. I was under the impression that blues stayed on the ground for 1 hour or something like that.

I think only blue non charm items last longer. Charms might be different...

I've heard of at least three instances where eth non-magicals poofed inside of 5 minutes. They go really fast. Especially Eth Threshers... probably because they have faster attack speed.

I suppose that's the toll for dealing with the reaper...

I feel dirty for typing that, thanks a lot
