I use my meteorb to do mephi runs, I needed more FHR, so I added a shael.

What do you use this sorc for?
What is the rest of your equipment?

Useful socketing:

PAmythest for an extra 10 strength
PEmerald for an extra 10 Dex (if you're gonna go for blocking)
PTopaz for MF, or Ist
PRuby for an extra 38 Life
Lem for Gold Find
Um for Resists
Jar for 5% extra life
Ber for an extra 8% DR
Sur for 5% extra mana (ES sorc)
Shael if you have rubbish fhr
Light Facet for extra damage.

Ptopaz is very tradeable if you want the option of trading it away, as is Um.
