Sometimes, you face a build in pub that seems like its just made just to kill your guy, not even your general build, I'm talking about YOU. Its like, they eat you so efficiently you're baffled. :shocked:
hmm, seem to remember dueling an HS/HF Aura Charger with my 500 life bowazon. That was pretty bad. There was this wizzy glove 70% fcr bvc who I couldn't beat with my es/light sorc. and then there was this tele BvB who had enough mobility to shut down the idea of long widow + run tactic, but enough block/dr/def/ar to smash my bvc's face in. :tongue:
Remember, don't turn this thread into build vs. build, just explain what opponent (equipment too if you can) managed to eat you up so ridiculously easily. Your own setup will be useful too.
Let's all walk down the memory lane and share those good times where your chars were ggpwnd.
edit: also, what we can do is give friendly advice to others if there is a way around to have an easier time against the same opponent by swapping some gear or change of tactics.

a tele smiter that 15 -0 ed my BvC in 3 sets of ft5. and he had zero fcr :lipsrsealed:
recently i was able to beat him though.

My es/fb against 2 aa fc zons 2 sorbing hammerdins and an aa bow zon with ias hack. I died instantly to aa farcast as soon as i showed up on their minimap. There is absolutely nothing an es sorc can do against aa farcast.

My Foher vs. this light resist thing paladin. It was like lightsabre, Ort kira, max'ed light resist aura, tgod, wispx2, 4x ort paladin shield. i mean :laugh: :laugh:?!?
Tactics: S/E.
Or you could have slapped on a Grief and charged him. ^^ (yeah right).
1.09 duel: V/T versus Bone Necro who kept using Bone Wall. No tele to get me out of that one..
Playing a wolf against a necro who had doom, clay golem, decrep, and a riphook merc. I was barely moving :(

well i tried everything... I dueled him a bunch of times, but the desynch really screws me over. If he posts in this thread he will let you kno how badly he owned me haha.

Uhh... sorry can't think of an advice there. :shocked: Ias hack? You mean how AA allows users to cast any skills faster but really you're just using your max bp? or was it an actual actual ias hack?

Lol, I've learned that best ZvZ Bowers are ones with huge tankability with little damage.

My ww/trapper against moonlikes bvc with tg.
My ww/trapper vs a idk bvc with max block with storm still max resists with a solid stack + tg and over 6k life . Got owned all the way back to first grade. His control was superior
There is no bvc with max block.
I said i didnt know - he went dual wield at some time - at other with a eld-ed storm and had max block if he was not lying which i doubt - he was build like a bvc - he may not have been one but still i god smacked.

Yes, was a hybrid assassin. I usually play aggressive with stun and OW, then drop back when I have an HP advantage and just chip away. For some reason a lot of BvCs recently seem to have decided that running around with widow works for every opponent and they end up trap locked. Leo (and my friend jacky for that matter) just got in my face real fast and pushed the close combat constantly. With a tg on him I couldn't trap defensively, WW vs. WW = dead sin.

Ever tried delayed nl --> tele ww on them when their out youre trap range?
Chances are there walking meaning a free ow check there.

The ONLY hopeless duel I've ever had was vs a guy who claimed to be the best auradin on USEast ladder softcore. He jumped me n told me I sucked so I went privi with him. I tried to convince him my DayDreamer wasn't an auradin but w/e. I did absolutly no damage to him. 2xwisp and bhorns, dragon dragon tgodz, hotspurs n a lvl 38 conviction. Counting him at ~ 90 or 95 fire n light res. Foh healed him, and me using res fire+kiras I still had about 78 fire resist and I charged him. Lack or ar I hit twice n 1/3 his life. But when ever I charged he got a good damage hit, and his aura wittled me away. It wasnt completly hopeless, I mean aldurs boots n 2xdwarf but I don't gear switch (a person challenge or just laziness). It would have been longg duel. Advice? Another character, same as anyone who negates you and your strategies. Desynch hdin 15-0'd him so easy.

iMC :grin:u can also use bvc /pure smiter with good stack. also widowmaker(if bvc) if you have problems namelocking him , he is gg
another thing you could have done is use grief and smite his head to death

After about 2 min we were both at around 1 life, 3 min later we were still fighting. In the end he just quit the game otherwise I guess we would still be at it............... Hits were going through but we both had dmg reduce that prevented kill.

Slap on some sorb, be aggressive, and don't get yourself into a situation where they get free ww chips. OW hurts. Makes you say "OW".

The other day I was "dueling" a TG fissure druid with my Plague/CS zon. Eventually I managed to rile him up enough to actually duel me. Little did I know that before the duel he had put on:
Death's Gloves
Guardian Angel
Blackhorn's
SS Treks
He also went out and bought 16 Antidotes. I was not pleased....

That's good advice, I haven't tried it.
The only problem I see there is that the BvCs who usually beat me are never outside a screen of me. If they play tag I usually win.

Exactly. A BvC should go aggressive, try to chase the sin, not go run around trying to dodge traps. Otherwise it would be really ez for sin to get a free ww off him while he runs around like a fool. Not to mention ez prey for mb.
I meant, to relocate when he/she made a bad move.

Zomg I could not catch that guy, his desynch was da fastest ive ever seen because he was prolly using some sort of hack that increase your max bps.
Wherever i teled he was there in like 0.5secs.
He was also skillful in pressing 1234...
I just gave up and went to ez other duel games :P

camp in walls and spam ibs there s no way he cant hit some of your ibs.
oh yeah and you can always decrepify him
