big problem with my connection

i have a big problem
i have instal d2 and i have instal the patch 1.11b with auto update but when i want to connec to us.east the fallowing message appear " plz verifing your connection internet or ur modem " but my connection is O.K
i have try to connect maybe 20 times and nothing
i want to know if b-net can ban my adress ip for this

This isn't a 1.11 Bug or Suggestion.

Why don't you use your brain and download the patch without autoupdate instead of registering here so you could spam the forums?

Could be a firewall holding back diablo from accessing the internet properly.

when i start d2 i have instal the patch when i have click in battle.net after the installation i cant connect to battle.net


my firewall is norton but i have allow the traffic for d2 and i dont know why i cant connect

are you using a router?
you might have to open some ports for d2 to work correctly on bnet

yes i use a router but the port for my router for d2 is ok...i have desactived my firewall and nothing if b-net have ban my ip i dont know why because i play legit i dont use map hack and other hackc

if your ip is banned youll still get the warning after login

lots of people say notrons firewall works too well, try disabling it completely

i have tryinng to desable norton but nothing i have the same message...i have allow all my 25 port of my router...and nothing....i have reset my connection...nothing....i have change my key connection for my router and nothing....im with a router wireless ( d-link d152) but my other game is ok i can connect to internet game with but just d2 is crash

Allow port 6112 TCP out and allow established sessions in
Allow port 4000 TCP out (realm games)
Allow port 4000 TCP out and in (hosting open games only)

I am having the same issue, started last Thursday for me. I reset my cable modem, router, reloaded D2, nothing fixed the issue.

I can't connect to West but i play on Europe as well and Europe's ok
