I'm mainly going to MF, rush, etc. Overall, PvM. People say I should go meteorb, others say light/ice. What do you guys suggest?

Blizzball and Meteorb are the main ones, but others are viable too.

Pick the one you like the most.

I would rather use a fire/cold combo than light/cold.

The cold part does the slowpart, and fire has great area affect spells.
The lightning spells all do very splitted damage (1-10000 etc), while the fire spells have a more even output. Light skills need lots of help from +skills to become a really good killer.

They also need better FCR. It's hard to balance killing power with high MF%

Not to mention that fire-cold is technically tri-element since you should also have Static. With light-cold you have no third element (not including Merc).

I'd say fire/cold. Never been much of a light fan.

If you plan to play untwinked, fire/cold is much easier to make. You'll have a hard time in hell with lightning/cold build with the items you find through playing, unless you do hundreds of MF runs in NM first to collect enough items.
Not to mention that fire-cold is technically tri-element since you should also have Static. With light-cold you have no third element (not including Merc).Don't you need Warmth for light-cold build?:wink3:

warmth is a passive mana regen skill that does no damage, i wouldnt really consider a cold lite sorc tri elemental if u put a pt in warmth, i wouldnt really consider a cold-fire sorc with static tri elemental but that makes a hell of lot more sense that saying warmth + ORB + CL = tri elemental
