Telekinesis and ES

In the process of building a sorc, and havent decided between ES and Vita. I tried to look, and all people tell me is telek benefits ES, just like the skill tree says. What exactly does it do? allows ES to absorb more? absorb more for less mana? Thanks for input

Telekinesis lowers the amount of mana lost per hit with energy shield. ES starts at 2 mana/point of damage; max telekinesis lowers it to .75 mana/point of damage.


All of my sorces have gone all Vita, with 1 point in ES (with telekinesis also left at 1 point)so they can take that little bit of extra damage. Most people advocate against this, but it has saved my butt quite a few times.
