Z keyboard button.

The Z keyboard button doesn't work in game for me. It works out of game and in any other game but Diablo 2 LoD. What's the problem here? :undecided:

Go into the options menu (pressing esc in game) and into whatever the keyboard/controller configuration thing is called and check what Z is programmed to. I think it toggles portraits by default but I changed mine for a skill hotkey. Are you sure you have yours assigned to something?

That's strange. You don't use any "game modifying" programs that might be binded to the Z key do you? If you do you should probably get rid of them. If you don't, you should scan your computer just to be safe. Otherwise I'm sure you can live without using Z. Just don't make a Zon or try to trade any Amazon related items.

I remember a thread someone had the same problem but I couldn't find it. IIRC it had to do with some ingame shortcuts. How to solve? Find the shortcut or reinstall the game should work.

If you want to find the thread, I belive it was in september or october this year in this subforum.

What type of keyboard are you using?

What language is your D2 install? And Win install?

Are you using standard keyboard layout? (try hitting alt + shift to switch between installed layouts and see if there's any difference)
