My paladin is about ready to try to take solo Tristam. I am concerned about mt build. I am not the richest player, so the gear I have is all I have. Here is my build:

Guillaume's Face Helm
SUPER low Grief PB
Dusk CoH
42 Res All Sacred Rondache Exile (not eth)
IK Gloves
String of Ears
Up'd Goreriders
Rare Ammy - Dual leech, 20-40 Res all
(2) Ravenfrost

6 BO CTA/Spirit Monarch - switch

After BO, life is 2100, def 15K 75% block

Standard skill set - 1 pt smite, max fanat, max zeal, max Holy Shield, max Sacrafice, 1 Sanctuary.

I can kill most everything in hell very easily (IM still a pain), but I am still worried that I don't have enough life or defense. I plan on pre-buffing fade (from treachery) and using sanc to take out Meph, but am I well enough equiped to handle the rest?

You will be fine. When i first took them on i had low low stuff. Like black, smoke, 4soc 30res all with 4 p dimonds, etc, And took them out with only a little trouble. You will take them out with ease. Now when u say Sanctuary do you mean the arua that pushes and hurts the undead? Or do you mean Salvation the one that helps light/fire/ice res? Dont use Sanctuary use Salvation cause even with maxed res meph arua will take u down pretty far use Salavtion and u should be alright.

U will be fine i used pretty much the same gear the first time i did it and hadnt used barely any attribute points and i survived. I only had 800 life the first time i did it

Fantastic to hear. I know I *should* be able to survive. The only time I have tried is with my Sin - she didn't do so well. :) And yes, Salvation is the aura I was thinking about. I was thinking about trading all my extra gear for a Verdungo's - is it that much better than a string?

Actually I'd go with a Tgods to make Mephy a little less deadly

SoE? Try some Tg
Ammy- Maras
Raven dwarf

This gives u triple absorp. U will have around 20 percent chance of getting a lt. Use the fade buff from treachery this will give you stacked resists and some damage reduction.

Try to get some lightning res sc's.

T-Gods I can prob. get. I have a dwarf, but love the ar and ded (for blocking) of ravens. Mara's is to expensive. Don't think I can get one. I do love the str and dex from IK gloves, and don't know if I can even find a dracs.

id go for smiting the ubers instead of zealing them. Smite doesnt require AR and hits always.
