Question about the Smiter

i am considering of making a smiter for ubers
what should be the states/skill build
gear and merc?

I know there is at least one guide for uber trist in there, although many people use many different things. For example my trist smiter uses g face, maras, grief pb, coh, up'd hoz, dracs, dwarf/raven, tgods, up'd goblin toe. With a few p combats and +all res charms. I maxed smite, holy shield, fanta, and I put a few points into resist fire and cold to boost my max res of those, and 1pt into zeal for minions. Just enough str to use my gear, just enough dex until I had 75% block with holy shield on, and the rest into vita. I have a might merc that uses eth crown of thieves, eth up'd duriels shell, and eth CA pride, sometimes he dies in trist sometimes he doesnt. Someone else will have a completely different set up I'm sure.

full gris with 4x ber in the cacedeus, cta and spirit as switch, as skills u could use an 1pnt smite zealer..

act2 merc with forti, eth andyface and botd wp will do nice i believe

Ravenfrost, thundergods, duallleech ring with life/high resist, dracs, gores
some all resistcharms with strenght, and maybe pc skillers but i dont think thats a must.

Hardest part is Meph who drops ur resists by -125 while you are under constant attack my minons with elemental damage.

So you either get total of +300 resists or lvl 24 conviction.
