Is this a good claw for a Ww/trapper build?

doesnt have + skills to venom tho and not sure if the attack rating is sufficient

its a suwuyyah, its a rare so i think only 1 possible socket.

To be a good rare claw for a ww/trapper hybrid it realy needs the fools mod. If it had that then this claw would be damn good.

i would use it for a trap sin if i was going duel claw weild...but thats just me. with the IAS mod also it make trap laying that much faster.

a good claw switch would be a regular non uped bartucs with um rune.

uped only gives it maybe 20-30 more damage for 35 more prereq on str and dex which are both provided on the claw.

your claw is nice but it wont meet 9frame trap laying unless you socket with a shael or ias jewel. this claw also allows the option to trap mix. i would suggest using it if your a high trap dmg oriented ww/ ls hybrid. if not sell for a nice profit.

ah ic...so...i should stick w/ this claw socket it with perhaps a 15res/15ias jewel?...or should i go with fury with 3 ls...suwuyah thing is will fury hit the breakpoint for laying traps???

i believe feral, runic, and greater talon are the only claws that will hit 9frame trap laying with a chaos or fury runeword.

if you want good ww damage go with the fury.

if your more trapper oriented and use ww mainly as close range defense and to get out of locks use the suwayyah.

Meh, sell that claw to a trapper for profit and get a nice fury is my opinion.

Fools is a tad over-rated for WWsin imo, since with WW you have enough advantage with tele away etc that the extra AR compared to Fury isnt all THAT helpful, prefer the OW on Fury myself.

I keep a Jadetalon (res jewel) and a Kira's(Um) in the stash vs elemental users w/ lower resist.

I dont pull out the Tgods and wisp unless I'm getting some serious BM thrown my way.

Vs very high defence characters why are you even bothering to WW. These will be smiters and Barbs and when you are in range to WW them they are in range to WW / Smite you, and we all know that this is suicide on a hybrid.

The only sin where a fools is superior is a Ghost, and this is simply because they don't have damaging traps to fall back on, so HAVE to go in melee.

Vs these high defence characters its pretty clear that the best tactic is to avoid melee if possible.

And if you're gonna argue about trash meleers who you CAN ww, well vs those a fury is more than adequate for those.

i only have 5k ar and i find that i hit most opponents, even exile pallys and whatnot. it does get annoying if they stay still most of the time tho and allow their block to hinder me more.

Fools is very useful against BvCs. If a BvC doesn't suck, you need whirlwind or they are just gonna tank your traps and kill you. Most BvCs end up with around 8k def, which means that a Fools will hit a bit more often than a Fury.

It also helps against telesmiters, because whirlwind away isn't nearly as good as vs. chargers or walkers, and you need to do them damage when they port near you. Otherwise your whirlwind is just a slow form of movement for them to hit you in (they will use zerkers ofc). I'd rather get a venom hit on a smiter in exchange for his 1 smite hit than take 1 smite without doing damage of my own. You can actually tank smiters extremely well, 4k life with 50 %DR and 60% block (you can block smite) lasts a long time.

Vs. Hammerdins I'd take Fools 100% of the time. There are a lot of hammerdins.

I know me n Arbe have discussed this before, he likes Fury, I swear by my Fools.

Lastly, that claw has nice mods, but its not really that great for a WW/Trapper, a +3 Fury is better than it because of the lack of fools mod. You'd be better off with a 2/3/2 trappers claw to be honest.
