zerk vs pb noob question

I am on NL east making my 1st BvC barb and have most gear I need following blobs guide. The only problem is grief zerkers are very hard to find and it may take me a while to get one..However I do have a grief pb. Besides looking really bad and having a shorter range are there any other reasons why using a grief pb and beast zerker wouldnt work? Thanks

Weapon mastery!

I'd say take an EBotDZ until a GriefZ comes along but don't buld along EBotDZ stats..
