WW barb what can we do ?

I have my barb at lvl 83 now and ive been playing around with him

But what can i do ???

Mf .. dunno if he can be very good at that

and he sure isnt fast at doing baals or anything but i guess why ppl play barbs

Is that he cant die for some reason :)

but give me something i can do good with my WW barb pls

I use mine for killing stuff.. doh!

Seriously, I concentrate on pure damage and AR. No mf because that slows me down. I clear high level areas like pit, tunnels, river, worldstone, etc and get lots of charms, gems, jewels, socketables, keys, runes, etc. Once in a while I get a unique item, but uniques suck as compared to runewords anyway, so no loss.

I just WW things with my barb... I find that to be entertaining to spin around and get dizzy.

dude, my botd warpike is rock-botton, 350% ed & 12 leech and I still chew up monsters like there's no tomorrow:rolleyes:

Eventually, try to get your hands on an EBotD Ghost Spear. It'll most definately kill faster than a War Pike ever could.

I preferred warpike over ghost spear and great poleaxe because of 2 things:

1. It looks cool!
2. Easier to aim. Ghost spear hits further than its pic shows.

The last breakpoint thing doesn't bother me at all. I kill stuff with ridiculous ease anyway. 1 ou 8 player games.. doesn't matter.. lol. Besides, if I tri-whirl at stuff, the last break matters even less.

Did you ever try both? If you did, you'd notice the difference is close to non-existant.

weapon 1 : 60 ias ghost spear
weapon 2 : 60 ias war pike

ghost spear has average damage of 86.5 dmg and with 60 ias ww does 6.2 attacks per second
war pike has average of 105.5 dmg and with 60 ias ww does 4.1 attacks per second


lets say you have one minute of constant hitting with both weapons
total average dmg for weapon 1 would be 86.5 * 6.2 * 60 = 32178 dmg
total average dmg for weapon 2 would be 105.5 * 4.1 * 60 = 25953 dmg

thats a difference of a bit over 6k dmg in only one minute, if you add both ed/eth bonus/ed on armory/ed from skills difference becomes even bigger

I don't care about numbers. Warpikes look WAY cooler and are easier to aim :)

i decided to Use all i had left to make my old WW barb going again with much much better Botd but still i dont kill like i want too should i dump highlord for a metalgrid if so how much does metalgrid cost ??

My problem seems to be that i dont hit monster very well specially bosses :(

my AR is around 6k ww is that way to little or ist it ok and i just have to get used to miss alot ;) ?

And should i use Eni/CoH/Fort ??

anyway with my ww barb i mostly do pit/ancients way/ icy cellar/shenk runs and if bored baal or meph :)
and i do it with friends sometimes so its more fun.

If u have botd, u should have ignore targets defence too since its 1 of the mods from the rw.

botd has -25% target defense from the eth rune, not ignore defense
