Rune + Horadric Cube question

I've read on this website that you can transmute runes using the Horadric cube.


I've got more than 3 "Nef" "El" and "Eld" runes, but when I try to transmute them to a higher quality rune in the cube, nothing happens.

I have Version 1.07 so could that be the problem?

what you have to do is empty your cube of everything except 3 of the same rune and then transmute

This will give you 1 of the next higher rune this will only work with 3 of the same rune and only up until you get thul runes...thul runes cannot be transmuted

I had it like that.

I caved in and upgraded to 1.11 and now they transmute fine.

yeah you cannot cube runes in version 1.07. i had the same problem too

you can transmute 3-thul runes to gain the next highier rune in rank.
simply add a chipped topaz to the recipe, and waalaa!
