Er, has the ladder been reset yet?

I kind of stopped playing D2 after most of my friends stopped playing, switching to guild wars.

Still, I'm keeping an eye on my characters, and there's something that surprises me: still no reset of the ladder. Still no patch to add new content. Nothing.

I was under the impression that the ladder reset was due about two months ago. What's going on?

No, it wasn't. Nothing is going on, and no one knows when the reset will be.

dont trust any rumors until you can prove them yourself

most ppl including me expected the reset to happen in august, but as you can see it's end of october and no reset in sight

my guess is there will be no reset this year at all

Yeesh, I know that no one is paying for Diablo by the month. But there are still folks that pick up the game again for the first time - you can see them on this forum every day! And the fact that the battle chest is still sold at stores for $25 bucks or so (instead of the nice $10 special rack) says to me that they're still bringing in some revenue. For pete's sake how much time could it take to just reset the freakin thing. You could set up an auto reset algorithim every 6-8 months and you wouldn't even have to check on it. Grrr!!!

from what i've read on bnet forum, blizz are working on a patch so maybe the reset will happen at the time the patch is launched or soon after

this is all speculation but nobody will be happy with a mere delayed reset
