I have a rainbow facet jewel.. if I put it in armor will I still get the benefits or does it have to go in a weapon or something

also .. what is the best thing to put in the sockets of bownhew axe.. for my merc

Im a lightening sorcDepends on the rest of his gear. Does he have life leech? If not, i'd probably say shael amn would be good. If he has life leech, maybe shael shael.
