Couple of Enchatress questions

Thinkin of makin a chanter, was wonderin if i could use a beast as a Prebuff(WereBear Morph) then switchin to a diff wep, will switching weps make me change back into a sorc or will i remain in Bear form for the deration of the spell?

Also, What shield is best having trouble with this also, the guides are vague...SS(High Str...)? Dragon? Spirit? somthin else?What?

Read the bearsorc guide (http://forums.diabloii.net/showthread.php?t=482493), basically you'll stay in bear form after weapon switch.
As for shield, SS allows max block and high damage reduction, Dragon gives more fire damage, Spirit gives +2 skills, resist and a lot of mana, but you can't max block with Dragon or Spirit. So the actual choice depends on which route you choose and whatever play style you prefer.

You will want a dream shield and helm and a high level lightning mastery. That's the biggest damage source for a meleesorc.
