in HC will be a zealot/holy freeze. Are they any use?

Yes. My HF Zealot got through Hell with a minimum of difficulty.

Not the fastest killer, but you'll be mowing throught slow, blue monsters all game long.

Hey Talga, I just had a look at that smiter build for the ubers. I'm thinking of starting again & doing that. The killing rate looks ok.

it is, although you might want to consider a zmiter;

zealing at everything that is not endboss, and smite for all bosses. zealing will probably increase your killrate (with for instance a shealed heaven's light or grief) in combination with fana. (max sacrifice/zeal/fana) and maxHS for the smite dam for the additional def, you could put points in defence, a synergy of HS. Good luck,

ps. i have a smiter @scl, and with the right gear, you don't need to be afraid of the ubers ;)

resist can be built up by charms, a torch and of course in the end an anni.
