I haven't been around for a while. Life's been interesting. In the last year I have:


Moved out of my 10 x 18 craphole apartment
Moved into a 2 bedroom apartment with a (female) friend of a friend
Survived 8 months with her before she moved back with her parents (who also moved)
had my mom die 13 days short of her 60th birthday
tested for Yondan (4th degree black belt)
got a new roommate that is going to die if he keeps being such a prick

Which is exactly why I am not doing it. I don't want to give you the wrong idea. Cool? Me? Not in the same sentence. Even the word "not" can't cajole them to live amiably.

I'm truly sorry to hear about your mom.

I've had my share of difficult roommate situations as well. You'll survive them, though.

As for my roommate, I'm going to start looking for a new place. I wish I could get rid of him, but I can't The problem is that he is listed as the one leasing the apartment, while I am just an "additional tenant" there. That means he can decide to toss me out if he wants, even though I was there first. (The landlord is a lazy schmuck and doesn't want to have to deal with a 2-person lease.) Essentially, I'm totally screwed unless his probation officer nails his *** for something and sends him back to prison.

Gotta go, will post more Sunday or Monday

Skihard's wife and victim of countless really bad pickup lines by me and amny others. Still to no avail though. She loves skihard too much to run away with me. Good thing anakanahaks is off at the Canadian OCS so she's available to hit on too:wink:
