I joined a pk game with my mf sorc , and this is what i see

weird huh? 9 ppl in the game including me...

Now you're gonna admit it was a bad photoshop? As there's no line between the un-partied guy and the other party. Also it's unimaginably easy to photoshop the party screen. Bring a screen with 10 people standing next to each other and then I can consider it a good photoshop.
Or then there's something really ****ed with Bnet that moment, as there's no way it would, under normal circumstances, not draw that line between un-partied and partied.
lol dont acuse me of photoshoping kid, i could not find this guy anywhere in the game, i joined the game and that is what i saw. i guess it was a glitch , mayb he dropped due to timeout or somthing, i know very well only 8 ppl can be in a game at 1 time. i DONT even HAVE photoshop. i asked the other ppl in the pk game if they saw him too but they said they did not.

You wouldn't need PS; anyone could do this up in paint.

heh, fine guys dont believe what i saw, i know what i saw so i guess thats all that matters. i did not post this to be critisised, i posted it to see if you guys have ever seen the same thing or anything like it , try to find out why the party screen said there were 9 ppl in the game.im a trusted memeber in these forums and iv got no reason to lie. i expect an apologie if u guys ever encounter this same problem in the future, close this thread please.

You said it urself, that u know there is no WAY IN HELL that more than 8 players join a single game. And we know the same thing.
So how do u expect us to believe that picture when both u and everyone else knows its ABSOLUTELY IMPOSSIBLE for that to happen. Not to mention the shadyness of the pic right around the place where the "extra" player is. Coincidence, I think not.

If the game wasn't designed for a nine people, and it was some glitch, then a line wouldn't be drawn because there was never any need for the line.

i've run baal games where i restricted it to 7 people and an 8th joined. not the same thing but close.

First off, raging about it is not a good thing. Once if fills up and you start calling people names, you will get a lightning quick ban.
Second off, until otherwise proven, it will remain a photoshopped image.
Third off, your opinion is not "really" that important in this issue unless you're a professional programmer who has been working with PC games for almost his whole life, which I doubt high.

What's your personal problem with me? I've always said: If people do not like me, make up a paper with names to get me out of the place. But most likely there will not be enough of names (usually it has to be 60%s or more) and there will be as counter-paper to it anyways, at least on these forums.

And this is in the PvP forum why? In six years of battlenet, never have I seen someone surpass the 8 player limit. Never, as in never ever ever ever.

lol, why is everyone accusing this screeny of being photoshopped? sure, it would be easier to photoshop a pic like that than to actually be in a game that showed 9 players on the party screen. we all know a screeny like that is easy as hell to edit, and the OP isn't asking for praise (and certainly isn't getting any), so who really gives a **** if its photoshopped or not? i've actually seen a similar screeny somewhere else that showed 9 ppl in the game, and iirc there was somone in a party that didn't have their name in orange as well.
both of those screenies i saw could be photoshopped, although i don't think they are. the game is far from perfect, and a 9 player glitch really isn't that crazy compared to some of the fused items that have spawned (wizardspike gloves, as well as a messed up act 2 viper amulet that someone from here found), especially considering there wasn't actually 9 people in there, the party screen just showed that there was.
and @Ce Olba, who are you to say the OP's opinion doesn't matter in this conversation? He is the only witness of this, and I doubt he really cares enough to do a backflip to prove to someone that hes not bsing. you don't need a degree in computer engineering to know that a game can have a rare glitch.

I don't usually post in PvP but this caught my attention.
Like Big Boss said, this could be a rare glitch. Have you ever noticed that if everybody in the game is in the same party, there is NO line underneath them? I believe it's the same thing that's happening. Nevermind if that screenshot is photoshopped or not. That's what would happen if you saw more than 8 people in a game (well in the party screen since the game won't handle 9 players).
I don't know if that picture is fake, since I'm blind when it comes to that...

I do graphic arts for a living. I brought the pic into photoshop and zoomed it up and looked at it on a per pixel basis. It is definitely an altered pic. Even when not zoomed in nice and tight you can see flaws.

But if the game were programmed to add the line every time a party ends (which is the way I'd do it if I were a game programmer) there _would_ be a line there...unfortunately, none of us know how they've incorporated that seperation, so we can't count your example (or mine) as true.

anyway i often see 8 ppl in my baal runs which are made fo 7 players so its is possible
i have also seen cow lvl portal open out of town right next to entrance, when akara is close to it. i guess some sort of lag glitch...

I once was in a game where Akara somehow was just outside of town.
It was quite funny seeing people duel like this:
A duels B.
A gets to low life.
A goes to Akara.
B gets to low life.
B Goes to Akara.
and so on, until one of them couldn't make it to Akara anymore.

There was a hack/program that allowed the NPC to follow your character anywhere you go. They can't take WPs though and they are very slow at moving.
