Please contribute to the conversation. BvC's are like idoled here, and they really aren't that good of a class. Barbs are only good for leap + bo.

go to jsp post in legit dueling that you are #1 hammer ask for duel vs bvc or anything else and you will see how fast you will get owned if anybody decides to waste their time dueling you

A well-played hammerdin is a good opponent to a BvC, but most BvCs say different (mcm, luis)

If every hammerdin dueled every bvc the hammerdins would win because there are more skilled hammerdins than trash hammerdins.

While this is not the case with bvcs.

Also for the fact that there are more trash BvCs than there are good ones.

And most BvCs have no ****ing idea of how to duel a hammerdin. I've seen tons of random BvCs trying to teleww a desynch hammerdin, telezerk a constantly teleporting hammerdin, triwhirling a camping hammerdin. Heck, I've even seen people throw their little daggers at the Hammerdins.

For hammerdins: I've seen some that camp on town exit and cry "hacks" when I telezerk them to death, I've seen hammerdins who teleport to my shortwhirls, I've seen delayed namelock hammerdins that I can read like a book, I've seen godly desynch hammerdins, I've seen godly telehammerdins. I've also seen a good bunch of hammerdins with GAngel or VMagi. Heck, once I dueled 4 hammerdins (each wearing Vmagis and wizzies) and beat them all, 1v4. Tells you something.

Yes, most BvCs are trash and there are more trashy BvCs than any other characters. And yes, a godly BvC is about equal to a godly hammerdin. Luis kept saying that he went about 50/50 with the best hammerdins on EastNL. And he didn't even bother dueling most hammerdins. No idea of MCM, but he keeps saying that hammerdins are ez. Morotsjos says that Hammerdins are the best overall characters, but I've not heard his opinion on hammerdin vs bvc.

That is not true, thing is that it takes more skill to play a barb than hammer IMO. You have a very powerful semi-ranged attack that kills anyone in 3-4 hits on average, Barb needs charms and good timing etc.

On the other hand I still can't understand how come, even on ladder, you never meet (or at least claim so) any decent barbs that give you a run for your money. I have met quite a few of them on Euro ladder, And please stop posting every kill on a random barb that you make, it proves nothing, I could kill countless retard hammers flawlessly with my bvc as well which just meant they were not good, and nothing more.
A good hammer is a nice match-up for a barb, but it works the other way around as well...

True about no decent barbs, my boner can pwn most bvcs(and other barbs)without really teleing alot and taking dmg, they just dont pose a problem to me.
But it takes alot of skill to use a BvC correctly and effectivly.

Oo. Bone necros needs skill to tele away whenever someone gets close THEN spam spirits in the general direction and hope for ibs hits. Gg skills? I think not. BvC requires more skills than garbo boners, sins require more skills than a BvC. But hammers require the most skill, if you desynch.
