I dont' think I've seen this particular hybrid build on these forums.

I've been using this build for a few weeks and it consistantly kills most other classes. Only problems I've run into is Necros, pure hammerdins, and the occasional godly assassin.

Anyone have a similar build?

Anyone got some opinions how effective it is in comparison to a Mage?

Its basically a Vanquisher (smite hammer with alittle charge) that is based around a Grief weapon, thats it.

Why 85% LR is a must?

I didn't put any points into meditation, cleansing or lots into res light. Instead I have more charge, 1 pt into salvation for fire/cold sorcs, and a few more in holy shield for better smite damage.

This class usually overwhelms the mage variants because of its versatility. I'll throw up res lightning, charge, smite, tele, hammer, charge, smite, hammer, etc...
