I know we have an ATMA page, but this subject is not covered there that I can determine. It IS a recommended thing to do in the trading forum, so I'm asking here.
I am computer illiterate except for clicking on icons which do all the work. I am terrified when people say "just copy the file and move it...". I have no idea how to extract the stats for an item and transfer them to a thread on the forum. The only way I can do it is to write down the stats on a piece of paper and then type them into the thread. Since that could involve typos, I'd like to learn how to do it correctly.
I need a patient, thorough instructor here, one who can spell out in detail how to do it.Thanks.

Right click on the item--->select View---->select all the text about the item--->copy and paste

Then, highlight all of the stats for the item. Right click where you just highlighted and pick "Copy" from the menu. Now you can paste it where you want, either into a thread or a word processing program.
If the item is in a stash, you can skip the first step, and just highlight and copy the stats that show up in the Stash window when you select an item.

Aha! Never thought of the "right click" caper. TYVM.

I will say I sometimes have trouble highlighting ALL the text.
