What type of paladin shield?

Im planning on making a pheonix for my hammerdin.
My question is what kind of paladin shield should I make it in? I know Ill need one with good resistances but what type of shield would be good?

Any of the elite paladin shields are good for phoenix.All have similar average smite damage.The best for % block rate is the sacred targe with sacred rondache a close second.

Why Phoenix for a hammerdin? No skills or FCR, two very important things for a caster. The only thing you'll benefit from Phoenix is the Redemption aura, life, extra max resists, and some fire absorb. Spirit is way better for a caster, not to mention easier to make too.
