Lo all,

I was wondering if you have any tips for me.
To have some fun in pubby multiplayer games I started building a pure support necro.

Started out pumping Amp and CE and have added 1 point in bone armor, golem mastery, clay golem and 1 in blood golem so far.

I intend to max Amp, CE and turn the clay golem into a meatshield by pumping GM and BG.

So far so good, I have one problem though... My mana consumption :embarassed:
I cannot seem to find a build guide for this type of character in the Necro forum so I figured this would be the place to start begging for info :badteeth:

Considering I am an utterly poor bastard and therefore am unable to get some Insight action going on a merc, what would be my best bet?
CE is sucking up pots like crazy...

Any help would be appreciated.

Insight is your only bet. Its not that difficult to find the runes for insight.

There are other solutions, however the gear is more difficult to obtain than simple insight runes.

when caster crafted items add 5-10% mana regen, and meditation from insight is between 575% and 700%? Plus you'd have to burn runes/gems to craft the items? Not a hope. However, they are a nice addition after you get insight.

if you are in normal and have some sox left, then make countess runs for a few eth runes, each has 15% mana regeneration. maybe you get there the runes ral tir tal too.
nightmare countess has the best drop chance for the runes you need to make insight.

I forgot to update that, I bought the expansion set a couple of weeks ago.

NM Countess = easy Insight runes. Also, you might score some Spirit runes too.

Also keep in mind that Mana Regen speed is based on the maximum amount of mana you have. So when you do start gathering mana regen try to get max mana gear as well. It will hasten the regen.

The Sol rune is the one I am most worried about, the rest should not be a problem... I'll try and run some NM countess once I get there, I'm currently still working my way through Normal :o
