I made a "basic" fury/rabies wolf on single player with the following gear:
Botd berserker / Cta
Stormshield / Spirit
Ravenfrost
Ravenfrost
Highlords
Verdungo
Gores
Bloodfist
Enough strength to wear coa and maxblock rest in vita.
9*35 life shape skillers, 20 stats anni and torch.
Maybe a little over the top for some, but this is where were heading right? Only 1 bo on cta to make it up. Or something...
I maxed fury, rabies and creeper. Then one in prereqs and one in oak. 19 points left.
Here is the difference in life/ar when maxing either one:
Oak:
Base life: 1648
Life at oaklvl1 = 6703
Life at oaklvl20 = 7941
+Life/OakLvl = 65.16 (average)
Attack rating at WWlvl1 = 12 738
WW:
Attack rating at WWlvl1 = 12738
Attack rating at WWlvl20 = 17440
+Attack rating/WWlvl = 247,47
Base life: 1648
Life at oaklvl1 = 6703
So. Each level of oak you get 65,16 more life. And with each level of ww you get 247,47 ar. And you got 19 levels to spend.
Your life is: 6703 + X*65,16
Your ar is: 12738 + Y*247,47
Where X = base oak level, Y = base WW lvl and X+Y=19
Now, this only works exactly like this on this druid, with these stats and items. But it may help you decide if you want to max ar or max ww or maybe 10/9 or 5/14. Ill let you be the judge of that based on your preferences and your playstyle. You can maximize the equations, by defining how many ar one life is worth.
Pros and cons:
The oak is useful vs all chars, as you do need life vs all. It gets killed fast due to low life. And melee players can get some leech from it. Can be used as bait to hit players while they attack the oak.
The ar boost is also used vs all char but its only really needed vs highdef chars. You hit a sorc or another lowdef char with 12k ar eitherways. But the chance of missing is still higher with lower ar...
Its all about balancing. Sacrificing one to get another...
To really get something really helpful out of this you would need to see how much impact having a cta6 instead of a cta1. It might work wonders on the life... Its all up to the setup.
I cant really say what the ultimate setup would be. Maybe if you made the ultimate druid, and on that made the same thing. Then you maybe would see what really comes out on top.
Made this because i was kinda bored. Hopefully someone has any use of it... Still havent made up my mind how i shall build my wolf when i get a coa...
Have fun.
