Question about these forums

There is a option in this forum to subscribe to post, what does it do.

There are several types of subscriptions. If you select one with email notification, it should be obvious what it does. You will get an email when a new posting gets added or whatever will trigger the sending of an email. Subscriptions with no email notification (which is what I normally select) will just make the thread appear in your list of subscriptions.

Click on "Quick links" at the top of the page and select "subscribed threads" to see the list of subscriptions. I'm using that all the time for trades I'm participating in, threads with valuable information or which might need my future attention as a mod.

Before I was a mod, I was a pal, so it's quite long ago, but IIRC anybody can subscribe to threads, not just pals.

Hmm no, the last monkey like that was funny for a day, then I slipped on his pee and when I tried to hold fast on something, I got hold of a cabinet, it fell over, on the monkey and left an ugly blotch on the carpet which I failed to get washed out so far.
