Level up polearm weapons

I traded an eBotd GPA and I'm working on my barb now. I have been looking at the different weapons and I can't find a good one to use until lvl 69.

I'm gonna try and get Hwanin's Majesty set and use it, but I kinda doubt it will hold through all nightmare?

Husoldal Evo Bec-De-Corbin would reach 2nd breakpoint I think with a shael?

Maybe I should just forget bp's when leveling up and use whatever. ;)

Well are you going to lvl up by yourself?
Just stand there and let the hdin pwn baals minions,ez.
Just do that until w/e lvl you feel is good and equip your final gear and go out there and pwn.

Hwanins is a good set for nm,cheap and good.

Yeah, the Meditation aura is not going to mean a lot to you, but look at the other stats. Reasonable %ed oskill Critical Strike, which translates into Deadly Strike (I assume Critical Strike from Critical Strike and Weapon Mastery is added up), all for four throwaway runes and a level requirement of 27!!!

Socket it in whatever reasonable four socket polearm you can find.

You need Leech from somewhere else though.

This is how I usually play:

I play pretty much all quests in the acts, then I stay and lvl up at baalruns when I get there. Gear up and go to next difficulty. I don't like being rushed. :)

Any polearm with decent damage will do, as long as you keep whirls short.

However, short whirls require a LOT of mana steal.

I've planned not to put anything in dex since my gear will give enough to wear the eBOTD GPA. I would have to find some +dex stuff.

Guess I just wanted to say that I use my BOTD now and it feels good. :wink2: Level some more then I'm gonna play through hell.

Used a Hwani and a Obedience Partizan (took ages to hell-cow me one white partizan! grrr) before that.
