Ber or 40/15.
It depends on you built
e.g. 15% IAS won't help you if your a ww barb

I still say eld is a good way to go, allows you a bit more wiggle room for your dex, thereby giving you more vit.

It depends on the build. Um and Cham are popular, though I wouldn't do Cham myself. 40/15 are great for normalized swing attacks, while 40/9 dex or str jewels are nice for whirlwind.

-15req/15resist is good for low strength build and shael for faster block rate...it really depends on the character build what you socket it with.

Cham is ok but most people pack dual ravens for BvC against cold sorcs anyway...

rare jewel with FHR, %ED and max damage is hella awesome for WW as well, although 7% FHR and max damage only will still do fine.

No; ED and max/min damage on the same jewel are bugged, and cancel each other out. i.e., a jewel with ED/Max will not apply the ED% to the max damage, only the min.

Halciet,

I've heard this over and over, but i dont understand exactly why this bug even exists.
Can you explain what this bug is, in a lot of detail?

I'm not sure why the "bug" exists, or whether it is, in fact, a bug, as compared to something that was intended to be implemented by developers to curb overpowering. When 1.10 came out, the way that jewels with ed and any combination of min/max damage bonuses worked - in armor, helms, and shields only - was changed. The basic idea is that if you have a jewel that has an enhanced damage % bonus as well as either of these, the ed% will be ignored on whichever damage is boosted. To put it into perspective:

*On a jewel with x% ED, +y Max, when put in armor/helms/shields:

Max damage gets +y; min damage gets +x% boost.

*On jewel with x% ED, +y Min, when put into armor/helms/shields:

Max damage gets +x% boost, min damage gets +y mod.

*On a rare jewel with x% ed, +y min, and +z max, when put into armor/helms/shields:

Max get +z damage, min gets +y damage, x% ed is ignored.

All jewels still function properly when inserted directly into weapons.

Wow, that's nice to know Hal. I've always hoarded similar jewels like this each season but I usually gave them away or used them to craft with. :embarassed: I never knew what the heck to do with them. I inherited a bunch of accounts recently and they were chock full of these types of jewels and the one you quoted above was among them. I'm gonna take another stab at your concentrate guide, only this time I have decent gear.

For a PvP build, I would always use Eld, as it can save you ~15 stats, which means 60 life on a barbarian. After bo that's ~145 life.

a shael in stormshield gets a barb to a faster block rate breakpoint right?
