Anyone ever try using thorns aura (edge/bramble) and converting monsters with MB ? Should make for pretty effective crowd control.

Is it true that the thorns aura remains active when the bad guys revert so they will kill you/SM/merc in melee ?

I've been playing around with the same idea, and I've found that the thorns aura remains active on the enemy for a half-second or so after they 'revert' back to evil. Just use a bit of common sense when using this tactic and you will be fine
