I recommend ladder for the extremely cleaner economy and consistent, quest by quest partying in the first few weeks. And for the somewhat cleaner economy for the rest of it.
And nonladder is like easy mode, with the lower HP monsters, which I'd prefer not to play.

ladder is tougher, and generally people are nicer and more willing to help out newbies, and there are less dups (bliz runs ruststorms to clean them out)

- Some items will spawn on Ladder only (Griffon, etc...)
- Some RWs can only be built on Ladder (Grief, Infinity, Spirit, to name a few...)

Two excellent reasons, among many others, to play Ladder :grin: !
