I haven't played this game for a while, but was one of the most fun ever! I been doin the WoW thing since release and finally become 100% bored and cancelled my account. I'm going to start off with a Meteorb sorc to MF being my old account is long gone. :)

Do ladders still get reset? Any new content that I have missed? When last I played they just introduced "Uber Diablo" and his charm drop. Fill an out of action vet back in. :)

I don't play MP but yes, ladder still gets reset, although I think nearly a year had passed before they reset it the last time.

There are many more rune words/items now as well as Uber Tristram.

Lots of new stuff! The whole game has changed. The links given will help. One way to get some wealth at first is by saving perfect gems. They are used for cubing grand charms in an attempt to get a good "skiller with life or hit-recover or some other good modification.

Learn about "key running" and "uber tristram." You will need to build a Smiter eventually if you want to do this quest.

Ladder will likely reset in the next few weeks if Blizzard is consistent.

Some socketed gear can be worthwhile to sell.

Another way to "get rich" is to look for low lvl duel items like....
Level 9 jewels with 9 max damage, better if it has a mod.
Level 18 jewels with 15+ max damage.
Level 9 large charms with 15 to life and some good mod.
