I read the IAS guides and links, but I still have some questions:

1) Does fireblast follow the trap IAS table?

2) With C/C (-30 Greater Talons), WITHOUT BoS, (I think) the guide says I need 42% more IAS to reach the fastest trap laying. But is this straight up 42% from gear, or the "effective" IAS (e.g. BoS) the guide talks about?

Basically if I wanted to use fade, with C/C, what would I need to hit the fastest fireblast/trap laying (9frame I believe)? What gear would I have to sacrifice to hit that? (out of the "normal" gear setup, e.g. shako, enigma/viper, tgods, SS...etc.)

If both your claws are Runics, you need 42IAS to hit the 9 frame trap BP. The standard way of achieving this is to socket x2 15%IAS/Other Mod jewels in your primary hand claw and use a helm with 15% or more IAS. If you are using a Valk to hit 102 FCR, then problem solved. If you use a Circlet, CoA or other helm, then you would have to socket it with at least 15IAS. If you have good jewels, it's hardly a sacrafice, as you can add Resists or FHR at the same time.

Ah yeah I forgot about jewels, I was thinking alone rune lines.

So IAS on off hand claw doesn't help, right?

And, if I socket a magic +3traps/+2LS claw, will it have 2 sockets?

Off hand IAS will do nothing, although the base speed matters. As for 2 Sockets, there is a 50% chance for 2 osoc. If you have 2 claws, socket both of them, your odd of getting a 2 soc are good and you can use the 1 soc as the offhand claw since the number of sockets is less important.
