Polearms vs Axes

Im making a beserker barb. Should I pick polearms or should I pick axes? Why or why not?

I was thinking more along the lines of a two handed weapon. Is that a good idea for pvp? Anyways, can we just talk about two handed axes vs polearms? What is RW?

2 hands can work but its not the greatest option as pvp mele is mostly about block and shield + most use either 2 weaps, like a BvC due to the multiple mods u recieve from the beast + grief giving more dmg over time.

If ur making for BvB u will have problems vs weap + shield barbs etc.

You should not use 2h weapons for PvP. Two 1h weapons generate more damage/hit chances with whirlwind, and if you plan to BvB, you will need a shield.

If you must use a 2h weapon, then the great pole axe wins for damage and range. However, as I stated, dual wielding will generate more damage.

That being said, axes > polearms.
