I tried building one, first character for 1.11, but she failed in NM. Is it possible to build one that isn't completely gear dependent, or is her success based on simply her gear.
*Note*
I didn't really put too much into mana, which may have been a problem.

I guess firezon is quite hard to make. You might want to combine with cold trees to make a mage. Fire damage is not too good and there are lots of fire immune in Hell mode. You will probably need a infinity merc to help the immune problem.

errr to expensive, oh well she is serving her purpose as a mule for set items :D

i ve been building an ama specialized in exploding arrows lvl 77 now
so 20 fire 20 explo 20 strafe rest in valk-pierce a few
freaking expensive but lots of fun sofar-just finished act 1

gear : hoj great bow - dragon armor - kira sokected with firefacet
(resistance problems! and no ravenfrost needed)
some +2 ias gloves and infernostride boots for the moment
razortail belt for 100 %pierce -i use the +2 fire amu now
merc: faith

great fun to watch fields of hydrae :rolleyes:
