A few questions...

Ok so im reasonably new to D2X, I played the game through once in single player on normal difficulty and now ive started playing almost exclusively on the realms. Untill i got online I had no idea how complicated this game actually is, and now im more confused than ever.

Ok so I have a few questions.
First, I play a summon necro, and im looking for good equipment. Im not asking for free stuff, what i want is pointers for what i should be looking for and the best places to get it. What sorts of things are valuable to keep and trade, and what should I just sell/ignore?
Second, i found a unique Cedar Bow:
Kuko Shakaku
24 to 80 damage
Req dex: 49
Req str: 53
req lvl: 33
normal attack speed
+3 to bow & xbow skills (ama only)
fires explosive arrows or bolts
piercing attack
+176% enhanced dam
+40 to 180 fire dam
+ 3 to immolation arrow (ama only)
basicly I was wondering how much it was worth, because in trade games on battle.net no-one seems very interested. would i be better selling it?
Thirdly, my necro is level 64 and in act5 NM and keeps getting his *** handed to him by Baal. Could someone give me any advice on how to improve him? If anyone is interested i can PM you with all the details of the build so as not to make this post too long.

Imo the easiest to gain a bit of wealth to get you started is colleting pgems.

In regards to the "Kuko Shakaku" it is not worth much more than a few pgems. Check out the Trade Values forum (http://forums.diabloii.net/forumdisplay.php?s=&daysprune=365&f=25).

When dealing with "bosses" with a necro (fishy/summoner) then the easiest thing to do is make your way down to baal and clear the throne. Then got to Act 3 or 4 and revive some of those urdars/maulers (with the big club) they have crushing blow which make your necro take down creatures with massive hitpoints much faster.

btw do u play Non-Ladder or Ladder?

seperate your p amethysts
crafters will pay more for them in bulk
p skulls can be added with your pgems for most people

also collect junk jewels and low runes

crafters need them
low runes nef-under go for around 40 for lem
ith-ort can fetch a lem-pul for 20-40

spirit sets (tal,thul,ort,amn) are always needed if your ladder
if you include a hel the price will increase dramaticly

some people buy gold in bulk,
2-3mil can usually get a lem, one guy gave me 2um for 5mil

kuko rox for a low zon
keep it and make a zon for it
i got mine to lvl 80 fast with one, and some other decent gear
it kinda sux in hell but works great for norm and nm
