Couple of HC questions

Ive been playing Diablo for about a couple of years, but ive never tried hardcore before. What would be the easiest char to start with if i have no gear whatsoever? Whats the best realm for Hardcore? Should i make a char on ladder or non ladder?

Realm depends on where you live, choose the closest one to you? If you've got no stuff your better off on ladder, only reason to play non ladder is if you dont want to lose your existing items... As for chars, I would say barb, as you can pump vit and wont die as easily as say a sorc, but it also depends on how good you are at building certain classes.. im crap with sorcs, so i die alot on HC, but thats half the fun...kinda.. enjoy! =)

Europe ladder HC is still moderately active, though has died off a bit with guesses of a reset happening.

Sorc or java i would say are good starting chars.

Running NM with either of them should get you some decent items to start making whatever else you prefer.

i would pick whichever realm you have the least amount of lag on.
HC+Lag= lots of remade chars and wasted time.
