I have a 389 zerker grief, and I am able to beat most smiters. I have 37 20life scs, and max DR. I have 4.4k life.
I still get beaten by some smiters though.
Would getting an even higher damage grief help? Would it add alot more damage? (it would be pretty expensive to get one higher than 390 though..)
Second, some use holy freeze and beat me, does anyone know how to do this? Do you hot key charge, AND holy freeze, or do you just run at them with holy freeze and assoon as you hit them, change to fanat?

Thanks, any help would be really appriciated.

It be easier to help you if we knew what you were dueling with.

1. I would use a Shako for more life and skills for damage. I have over 20 +20life / fire/cold/light res charms to make up for any res that COA would give me.

2. use HOZ against other smiters, exile's xtra def doesn't matter vs smiters and the +4 skills and vit help a lot.

3. Put holy freeze on a hotkey while charging around the pally, wait for it to hit and immediately charge or run up to pally and smite away.

Use Charge plus Holy Freeze and Charge around. Get some practice and you'll be able to time it well. If they aren't Charging towards you, you can Holy Freeze + Charge into them, then do a Fanatic Smite. I usually do this with my V/T except I like getting a few shots with FoH in first. If you are lazy, you can skip the Charging around part if they aren't Charging. If they are Charging at you and you want to hit them with Freeze, do a walking Charge + Holy Freeze (go in walk mode). You seem to get hit less. Strike when you get the chance.
