Hi guys, and gals, I just recently decided to start playing D2 again (in secret), you see my girlfriend decided she didn't like me playing, so I gave away all of my equipment, to one lucky individual, and now I've decided on making a new type of character, or rather a new type of account. I'm making a low level duelling account(hopefully this takes up a little less time), and I would like some advice. If any of you super wise individuals, with experience in this area would like to impart some of you wisdom unto me, I would greatly appreciate it.

Type of advice I'm looking for:
What type of characters to build; ie class and central skills.
What equipment should i use.
And last but not least, how much will the equip cost me, as I managed to save only a few hr's and soj's for trading and such, in case I ever decided to come back.

just pick a character class you will enjoy, and go to that forum and read up on some of the PvP guides. The class specific forums are a better place to get focused advice.

Also, since you're doing low level dueling, you can rebuild a character pretty quickly if you screw up, so you're in a pretty good position...

Welcome back! Im not gosu with any low-lvl duelling but i'll say:

1) If you wanna a good low-lvl pvp prepare to spend a lot of time if you gonna build it up alone. Sometimes it can be very difficult to find proper item which will be the best. ( often it will be rare/craft )

2) I dealed with low-lvl pvp boner and chargedin. Low lvl pvp is more like skill for me than stuff ( but of course stuff plays a big role everywhere ). So imo try the char you played most of the time. As for me i liked the low lvl boner. Of course he isnt an opponent to a hardcore playstyle high lvl nec, BUT if you play a nice duel game with low lvls pvp only you'll like him. Cant remember my gear but i didnt have some gosu items for low pvp.

3) You can ask ppl about low-pvp here: http://forums.diabloii.net/forumdisplay.php?f=27 i think some of them deal with low pvp chars.
