Low life?

I'm playing a WW Barb. I use a Martel and an Ornate. Other than the 170 necessary points for strength, I've dumped everything else in vitality. Yet everyone I come across tells me I have low life. It's about 2.8k at level 79. Am i missing something here?

3k is about right if you dont have much help from items such as +15 str rings, +20 str belt, as well as +60 life on armour and belt etc...
Ofc you have maxed Battle orders but if you dont use 2 x bo sticks on switch your life will be a bit lower too.

Its even worse when u are an exec barb, 170 str and 110 dex. There I found I needed to wear a 3 pruby helm, and of course hi bo with +2 execs which doubled as my real weapons. That might cause a resist problem unless u make sure u have a nice lvl of natres and lots of dual or even triple resist gear. My barbs have done well with 2.8K to 4K life with bo. When it was 2.2K with nicer damage and attack rating, it became noticeably riskier.

With this level of life u can go well into the 90+ levels.

My BvA, at Level 88, hits about 3.4k life w/ a regular 21 BO. You need +Life from your items, mostly your armor (if not using RCage), belt, helm, Angies if you use them, or rare rings/ammy. Also, a 31 BO helps, too. :grin:

I believe you would be better off to use a 3 perf ameithist helm instead of the rubies...
